Young Students Explore Robitics via Western Massachusetts Project

Hampshire Regional schools and seven other Pioneer Valley school districts were awarded $200,000 in grant funding to support the Western Massachusetts Robotics Project. The robotics photo¬†grant paid for robotics kits to be used in elementary classrooms as well as STEM teacher training. The Western Massachusetts Robotics Project will allow younger students to get an earlier introduction to STEM education with emphasis on technology and engineering. The Western Massachusetts Robotics Project encourages elementary administrators to incorporate STEM programs into their schools.
