training teachers explored:
- Inquiry-based science practices
- Critical thinking skills
- Reflective journaling in the science classroom
- Using children’s literature to introduce and reinforce science and math concepts
- States of matter
- Structure and function
- Force, motion, and energy concepts
- Methods of seed dispersal
