Invent To Learn, a Must Read for all Teachers

I’m a big proponent of teachers striving to renew and energize their ideas, teaching styles, etc.. One of the ways I expand my intellectual base STEM Teacher Training by Dr. Diana Wehrell-Grabowskiis through reading teacher education-based books. I just received Invent To Learn: Making, Tinkering, and Engineering in the Classroom by Sylvia Libow Martinez and Gary Stager, Ph.D. I’ve only quickly skimmed over the book, and I must say that I’m really impressed with the material covered in this book. It’s a book that I would highly recommend for all teachers to own a personal copy of, as well as individual schools having a copy in the Teachers Lounge. It’s a very timely book since it’s based on STEM education practices and content. I’m looking forward to reading the entire book, and sharing content during my STEM teacher training workshops.
