Dr. Diana Wehrell-Grabowski chemistry workshop
Dr. Diana Wehrell-Grabowski demonstrates how to make a 3-D structure made out of toothpicks and garbonzo beans. This structure is then dipped into a soap solution to demonstrate numerous science and mathematic concepts including: minimum surface area phenomena, cohesion, adhesion, solutions, geometric shapes in nature, geometry, molecular structure, and surface tension.
