It’s been five months since my last post. Going non-stop traveling throughout the nation and world conducting hands-on-minds-on, inquiry-based STEM teacher training to preK- Grade 12 teachers. So where have I been in the past five months? Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, St. Louis, Louisiana, and Nevada. Had the opportunity to visit so many wonderful schools and districts, and meet such dedicated educators, willing to look within themselves to see what changes they can make in their teaching styles and classroom environment to provide the most meaningful learning experiences for their students. The Next Generation Science Standards requires major paradigm shifts in traditional teaching and learning practices, it will take time, baby steps I tell the educators I meet.
The photos below are from the various STEM and science teacher training workshops I have conducted within the past 5 months. Thanks to all the schools, districts, and organizations that have had me come and share my knowledge and enthusiasm for STEM and science.
